About me

About me

I believe that each of my works is formed by issues I have personally experienced and needed to address. Some projects may have commercial value in design, while others may be simple utility tools, but they all constitute solutions I have made when faced with problems.

I have a strong sense of empathy, often immersing myself in situations to better observe life's issues and constantly thinking. However, I have to admit that not every solution has commercial value for implementation. I aspire to combine my business background to approach problems from various perspectives, beyond the realm of UX design. Using a more diverse viewpoint and a variety of methods, I aim to drive problem-solving and foster innovative thinking in design.

Transitioning from business to UX might not be a common choice, but I believe that one's discipline should not define them. Everyone should continuously explore fields they are interested in and make efforts towards them.I also believe that no step taken is in vain.

During my time in auditing, I gained an understanding of metrics that easily draw attention. Later, as a finance professional undergoing audits, I grasped the importance of sensitivity to these data points. Similarly, in the field of UX, I find parallels between competitive analysis in UX methodologies and competitor analysis in marketing courses I took in business school.

Moreover, marketing models such as SWOT analysis, Pest analysis, and Porter's Five-Forces analysis can seamlessly be applied to UX research. The feeling of connecting knowledge from different fields is truly fascinating. The ability to supplement previously acquired knowledge in new domains is a fantastic experience.

When crafting my portfolio, I faced the challenge of making it accessible to those unfamiliar with the UX field, as it might not always be UX professionals who first review it. I pondered this issue extensively, realizing that lengthy text might be dull for some readers. After much consideration, I drew inspiration from the concept of 'outfit changes' in video games. Perhaps, I thought, I could make my portfolio understandable to everyone through these 'outfit changes.'

With the continuous development of AI, I'm grateful for tools like ChatGPT and MidJourney, which enable me to generate AI comics through learning. Comics offer a visually engaging way to narrate my work. If you're intrigued, you can click on 'Comics' above to explore my portfolio with a different visual perspective. If you believe the portfolio should focus more on UX knowledge, you can check out my work through the 'Original' section above.
